Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show

Bella posting again.

We watched the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on the USA Network and CNBC on Monday and Tuesday evenings this week and we are a little disappointed that a Boston Terrier didn't make it to the final judging.

There were 26 entries, lots of good lookin' Boston Terriers. Ow!!! (Sissie says I'm too young to voicing a opinion about "good lookin'" Boston Terriers.) Maybe so, but I liked what I saw!

Here's a picture of the Boston Terrier Best in Breed, "Ch Classic's To Be Or Not To Be:"

We borrowed the picture from the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show website. We hope they won't mind. We just like looking at him!

Check out the judging results video for Boston Terriers, here's the link:

We hope that next year a Boston Terrier, "The American Gentleman," will make it into the Best of Show judging.

Bye for now, all this TV watching has made us sleepy. Good night to all.

Friday with Sabrina

Sissie here -- this is my second post.

Friday we went to see Sabrina, one of Daisy and Jim's granddaughters.
Sabrina's mother, Malinda, took the pictures of us. She even took a couple of great pictures of Bella.

It was great fun playing with Sabrina, but after all the play we headed back to our kennel.

Nap time. Bye for now,

Sissie

Boston Terriers and Computers

Sissie Here. Bella got to prepare the first two posts. So now it's my turn.

Jim has given us our own computer so we can work on our blog and keep up with things in general. Friends and Family, that's what's important. It's been fun having our own computer, but it is a little hard since we can only type one letter at a time. Bella thinks she's a really fast typist and when she was doing her first post she got all excited and ended up typing so fast that the computer locked up and we had to reboot. Doing a Ctrl-Alt+Delete was hard, Bella held down the Ctrl Key and the Alt Key and I had to hit the Delete Key. It took a couple of tries to coordinate but finally we got the computer rebooted.

We've set up our own email account. We had to look around a bit before we found a email provider that would allow us to set up an account. They kept wanting credit cards and various identification. Now what 8 week old Boston Terrier is going to have a credit card? Or ID? Well, after numerous tries we got one set up. If you want to email us, make a comment, and we'll send you our email address. We'll try to answer all emails but bear with us if we don't get back to you right away.

Here's some pictures

We asked Master Jim to take some pictures last night and this morning. Here's one that he took of the two of us:

That's my sister "Sissie" on the right and I'm on the left. We're in our nice comfortable bed in our Crate. When we get tired from playing we can climb into the bed and get some rest.

Here's one he took of me. I asked for a glamour shot, but this is what I got. I'm gonna have to help him with his photographic skills.

Here's the picture he took of Sissie. Much better. Why couldn't my picture look that good?!?

We will work on Master Jim's skills with a camera and get some more pictures on in the next few days.

Meanwhile, I'm gonna take a nap!

Bella and Sissie's New Home

Bella and Sissie here.

All our breeders had to do was show us to Jim and Daisy and so now, as of Wednesday, February 4th, we have a new home.

We're Boston Terriers. We were born on December 13, 2008 near Rome, Georgia. We're just about 8 weeks old. We're gonna miss our parents, Tinker Bell and Tater. They were lot's of fun to play with. But, then our new Masters are fun to play with also.

We're sisters, born in the same litter. Jim and Daisy said they didn't want to separate us, so they got both of us. We love to play together, eat together, sleep together, and do just about everything together. We're sure glad they got both of us. We'd miss each other if we had to be separated.

I'm Bella. Master Jim picked me and named me. My sister and I are really the Masters in this household but we won't let on to Jim and Daisy about that. My sister was initially named Chica, but Daisy, her Mistress, decided that since Chica was larger than me, I'm the runt of the litter, she should have another name. I think Mistress Daisy has settled on Spot. She has a black spot in the middle of the white band on the top of her head. Real imaginative name! Oh, well, what can you expect from humans? -- Hold the presses!!! Mistress Daisy has changed her mind again. I think my sister is going to get neurotic with all the name changes. She won't know who she is! Mistress Daisy says she is going to call my sister "Sissie." Another really imaginative name. My sister says she likes it. She hopes the Mistress Daisy won't change it again. And no, she is not getting neurotic. Well...we'll see!

We're all set up in the Guest Bathroom. Boy, do we rate! Our Crate with our bed and a blanket, food bowls and a water bowl, some rugs to play on, all our toys (we shopped at PetSmart on the way to our new home and got some Nylabones, chew toys, new collars and leashes, and some yummy Pedigree puppy bites), and a wee-wee pad to do our business on. What business did you say? Well, that's none of your business!!!

Our first night went good. Master Jim put us to bed about 10:00 pm and got us put a little after 7:00 am. Freshened up our water bowl, put out some fresh puppy bites for us, cleaned up the old wee-wee pad and put out a new one. Quiet place to sleep, nice new toys, good food, clean, clear water, and attentive service. What more could a puppy ask for. Sissie and I agreed. We're gonna stay! We also give this place 3 stars. ***

Master Jim said he was pleased that we mostly used the wee-wee pad, we're still kind of young and can get away with a few mistakes. He said we're gonna have to work on those mistakes.

Our first 8 weeks haven't been very eventful. We've been wormed three times! Now that was fun!?! And got our first shots on January 29th. We heard Jim and Daisy making an appointment this morning with the Vet for our next shots on February 19th. We're gonna have to find a good place to hide!?! I'm not sure I like Vets!

Well, I'm gonna go play with Sissie and then take a nap. All this moving and getting a new home sure tires us dogs out. Come on Sissie , let's play tug of war with this rope toy!
